Click to enlargeGUINNESS Storehouse is a remarkable development based in St James's Gate Brewery, Dublin, the home of GUINNESS. GUINNESS Storehouse is establisehd as one of Ireland's most popular visitor attractions, providing facilities for up to one million Irish and overseas visitors annually.

This unique GUINNESS experience has been developed in a 1904 listed building and encompasses 170,000 sq.ft. or nearly four acres of floor space over six floors built around a huge pint glass atrium. On top is located Gravity, the bar in the sky with the highest view of Dublin City which offers unrivalled views of the cityscape.

This extraordinary building houses a world class visitor experience, retail store, gallery and exhibition spaces; events, venues; restaurant and bar areas, the company archive and state-of-the-art training and conference facilities.

Visitors to the GUINNESS Experience at GUINNESS Storehouse will discover what goes into making a pint of GUINNESS - the ingredients, the brewing process, the time, the craft and the passion. They will also see how GUINNESS has travelled to 150 countries and how the famous brew has been advertised over the years. Their journey will end on the roof in Gravity bar with a perfect pint and best view in Dublin.

Visitors to the Storehouse will also experience a first class retail store, an inclusive, accessible and engaging place, which presents the best mix of traditional and contemporary merchandise unique to the home of GUINNESS. The store is a busy, lively area with a 'bazaar' like feel and is supported by a designated Storehouse web-site where online shoppers can order items for direct delivery to their homes.

Completed in 1904, the Storehouse building was the first steel framed building in Ireland. It is based on the Chicago style of architecture and was formerly a fully operational plant for fermenting and storing GUINNESS until the 1980s.

GUINNESS Storehouse replaced the GUINNESS Hopstore, which had reached its full capacity with almost 500,000 visitors annually. It is more than four times the size of the Hopstore building and provides a world class visitor experience to meet the needs of the ever increasing number of tourists to Ireland.
